By using rhetorical analysis on different types of objects it teaches you how to pay close attention to things like tone, focal points, and things int the background. It also helps you learn how to find the meaning of pieces of work easier, especially when it comes to a piece of music.

Analyzing different types of text can differ. for example, when you analyze a piece of art most of the time the point or the message of it comes across int the piece, but when your analyzing something like a song your first impression isn't always right. You might have to watch the video and look up the lyrics to go the full message. I believe that analyzing a music video is easier than analyzing a piece of literature. When you analyze a piece of literature you have to take a lot of things into account like diction, repetition, and tone, which sometimes might be hard to explain or backup. But when you analyze a music video you have visual evidence of the overall meaning when match it with the lyrics.
