Differences in Rhetoric

When analyzing an image and song there seems to be two different approaches one must to take in order to properly understand the message that the creator is trying to get across. For instance to understand an image you must focus on the colors, texture, and graphics in order to find out what the image is trying to say. From this you can see if the author was expressing a certain emotion or thought, like for instance if there's image that uses bright colors such as red and orange, with a rough texture, and shows someone screaming at the sky then we see that the artist is expressing his anger towards a certain subject. On the other hand, when you are analyzing music or a song you will have to look for different details then when you are analyzing an image. When analyzing an song you are pay attention to the lyrics, tone, tempo, figurative language, instrumentation, and overall diction in order to understand the message that the artist is trying to get across. So the man difference in rhetoric is that one must search for different details in order to properly analyze what needs to be analyzed, whether it be an image or a song.
