Countering Stereotypes

I feel that just because I am a certain color or race, doesn't mean that I should act or be a specific way. Some people may place a stereotype on me, but I am never offended or affected by them; I'm just me and I love the way I am, whatever I am. Instead of countering stereotypes, in my case, I would use writing, reading, and literacy to show that I am my own self and that no stereotype attached to me can in any way affect me.

    I like this, this is how I felt when I was in high school about people trying to tell me I wasnt black because I swim.
